Fin, a California-based AI-driven customer service and messaging platform, formerly known as Intercom, was acquired by Californian cloud-based CRM company Salesforce for $3.6 billion to add AI agent capabilities to its operations that are capable of autonomously resolving complex end-to-end customer queries across numerous channels including live chat, email, WhatsApp, and other forms of communication to reduce cost-to-serve.
Californian SaaS customer data connectivity and collaboration platform company LiveRamp was snatched by Publicis Groupe, French multinational advertising and public relations company, for $2.5 billion to strengthen its role in data co-creation ability, a key capability for AI and agentic business transformation.
