Marketing and AdTech Buyers by Geography

US acquirers led MarTech M&A activity, representing 53% of all transactions, with the United Kingdom and Canada following at 10% and 5%, respectively. Buyers from Germany, India, and Japan further contributed to the sector’s global momentum. Notably, 35% of deals were cross-border, underscoring MarTech’s increasingly international landscape.

Marketing and Ad Tech Sellers by Geography

Looking at sellers by geography, 51% were based in the US, followed by the United Kingdom at 10% and Canada at 4%. Significant dealmaking also occurred in the EU and Japan, regions which have historically been incubators for M&A deals in the MarTech sector, along with emerging areas including Australia and India.
